Tech, IT and compliance teams keep writing the same records and handing out the same secrets: the decision whose reasons nobody will remember in two years, the GDPR register a supervisory authority asks for first, the meeting-room WiFi key, the password of a new service account. Teams sets out the fastast tools for that work on four shelves, free and without an account.
Decisions and inventories, one form link per record
The architecture decision record and inventory forms carry the questions for a decision, a quality requirement, a constraint, a stakeholder, and inventory entries for applications, processes, flows, third parties and the DORA ICT register. You get one link per record type, to send to whoever holds the answer. It is not a repository: nothing is stored, and the answers go where you choose. I would send the decision form on the day the decision is taken, since a record written six months later reads like a reconstruction.
Compliance starts from the Article 30 questions
The record of processing activities template covers the controller’s register under GDPR Article 30(1), the much shorter processor’s register, a screening for whether you owe an impact assessment, and the assessment itself. Each becomes a form for the colleague who actually knows how payroll data is handled. It is not legal advice, and it does not host your register.
For a survey, the form generator flags the questions that carry risk, such as a phone number or a date of birth, and never receives the answers: they go to the destination you name, or stay in the browser.
Access, from service-account secrets to the office WiFi
The secure password generator starts from common policies, a 63-character Wi-Fi key or a six-word passphrase among them, and a policy link is safe to paste in a ticket because it says what to generate, not what was generated. The password crosses the network once, encrypted, so for a disk encryption key or a vault’s master passphrase its own page points you to an offline generator.
The two-factor authenticator reads the code of a staging account from its secret, with nothing to enrol on a phone. The WiFi QR code prints one A6 card per network, up to 20, the key on the card only if you tick the box.
Assets and meetings
The barcode generator numbers up to 100 assets in one run, each with its own check digit and your caption, on a PDF sheet of labels; for anything internal its advice is Code 128. The QR code generator turns up to 48 links into a captioned sheet to cut. For meetings, What time is it in any city reads one time on two clocks.
What you leave with
- Reusable form links for decisions, inventories, the Article 30 register and surveys.
- PDF sheets of asset labels, QR codes and WiFi cards.
- A meeting time as ISO 8601, epoch seconds or a Discord timestamp.
Questions
Is there a time zone tool for meetings?
What time is it in any city converts a meeting time between two cities, with the zone and offset of each, daylight saving included. For a wider team, the Discord timestamp announces one time that everyone reads in their own zone.
Is the form generator a GDPR compliant survey tool?
It stores nothing, never receives the answers and flags the questions that carry personal data. Whether a survey complies still depends on what you ask and where you send the answers.
